I really enjoy your human-stack, specially the way you named them :) can you tell me more about it?

Thank you, it makes me happy to know that (:

of course! I wrote a few guide lines for what i was gonna do with it and I tried really hard not to have shipping bias!

warning: this is going to be long!

Carter and Terry are childhood friends, living next door and all. besides her, Carter’s two other best friends are Shaun and Jamie. Jamie he’s known for a while, even before he came a pothead and even though it might seem like he’s usually disappointed by him, he really couldn’t give a fuck. he’s a good bro. he hasn’t known Shaun for as long (a couple of years maybe?) but he spends a lot of time chatting with him and Terry as they play videogames and simultaneously kick Carter’s butt in every game ever. again, it’s not like he cares or anything. Jamie’s family are from a higher class and it didn’t take much for them to kick him out after he started using drugs. he’s mostly hopping between friends when he needs a place to stay but he’s not much of a house-y person so it’s only for sleeping. it’s good he’s too stoned to care about that! Terry knows Vicky ever since middle-school and they always had very complicated relations! they both enjoy each other’s company but at the same time have endless arguments about everything ever. they love trolling people but bullying 1s go1ng too f4r >:[ Terry also has a variety of interests that include video games, tv shows (american/brittish tv, especially crime and mystery shows) and reeaally occasionally, anime. but that is only when Natalie (Nepeta) really insists she watches something! Natalie and Terry have a lot of feelings for fictional characters. they have a few comics and shows in common and never shut up about it once they meet up. Natalie is also nextdoor neighbor to Ace (Equius?? idk about the name) and waves at him obnoxiously at every given chance. she loves spending time with him.

Despite being one of Carter’s best friends, Shaun doesn’t really know Jamie at all. he’s only heard about him second-hand. he’s very good with everything that has to do with programming and computers and never misses a chance to combine strength with Terry and humiliate Carter. he used to have a girlfriend for quite a while, but one of Vicky’s tricks went too far and caused their breakup. Vicky, on the other hand sees that as her masterpiece. her main method of trolling in-game is hacking other’s accounts and doing stuff for them :::;) sometimes it involves in killing or injuring their avatars, oops! the only one who’s too clever for that is Terry and her stupid leetspeak and her tendency to change password every two weeks. her best work was throwing that dweeb Trevor’s avatar off a cliff! or no, wait! Ariadne and Shaun’s breakup totally topped that. she just haaaaaaaad to meddle with you, huh? ::::) well, wrong! she’s not a good student either and eventually ends up in detention. Trevor, despite always being bullied by her, really tries to help her with homework but since he’s not much above average he’s not much help. meh, he gets her to at least copy her homework off someone so she gets into less trouble than usual.

Ariadne and Shaun ended it up in a good way and are still on good terms. she’s currently a part-time barista in a local cafe, same one Ace goes to every morning to have breakfast and a glass of milk, which Ariadne finds really cute.  Faith and Adrian (Feferi and Eridan!) both live uptown and know Jamie from childhood, but only by name and looks rather than personally. Adrian has been nursing a crush on Faith since pretty much forever but he’s only realized that after she started seeing Shaun. needless to say his dislike towards him shows in-game as well as real-life.

i realize there’s not much about kanaya, equius and tavros but that is all i’ve thought about so far!! I hope the names aren’t too confusing and that this isn’t all over the place! it’s important for me to keep their canon relationships more-or-less the same in my AU, since their irl “voices” are supposed to be reflected in their avatars(canon).
